This boulder opal specimen has an organic freeform undulating surface. The highly polished chocolate brown ironstone has blue opal colours that flow into mauve and coffee coloured opal.  The freeform shape invites you to touch. The blue and mauve veins of opal are visible on all sides of the specimen running through  the natural patterning of the chocolate brown ironstone.
